SWAP AND LEARN
The March monthly forum of the Resolvers Club was a Swap and Learn Forum, which was an interactive and educational session that provided students with an opportunity to learn new skills and share their unique skills with other members.
PAGES OF PROMISE
Project ‘Pages of Promise’ was a project to donate your unused storybooks and new writing books to support children’s education and academic success, where we transformed pages into promises for a brighter future.
HELLO AMIGO 2.O
Project ‘Hello Amigo 2.0’ was aimed at nurturing appreciation by encouraging individuals to express gratitude and acts of kindness through handwritten letters, acknowledging and appreciating those around them.
PROJECT KAMUද 2.O
The Resolvers Club of Colombo showcased Project “KAMUද 2.0,” which was a version of our previous project “KAMUද,” offering an evening of fun flavours, games, DJs, and street food to indulge taste buds and groove to the sounds.
BODY SYNC: HYGIENE CONNECTION
A dermatologist keynoted a session on healthy habits, common skin concerns, and management tips. They provided expert advice, Q&A, and complimentary skin consultations for students. The session aimed to enhance overall hygiene and skin health.
ETHICS IN THE DIGITAL AGE
The January monthly forum of the Resolvers Club delved into an insightful discussion on ethics in the digital age, focusing on the complexities of ethical considerations in digital marketing and technology.
MUSIQUE DE NOEL
APIIT students, representing the Rotaract Club, Entrepreneurship Club, Resolvers Club, MDDMS and Student Activity Club participated in the annual APIIT christmas carols titled “Musique De Noel.”
JOY FOR ALL
The Resolvers Club organized a momentous night to celebrate the efforts of students, staff and subordinate staff actively involved in the Resolvers movement.
BREAKING THE SILENCE
This event emphasized the significance of mental health and suicide prevention, featuring a distinguished speaker. Open discussions delved into themes of hope, resilience, and dispelling grey areas surrounding mental health and suicide.
CODE GREEN
Code Green Phase 01: Digital Detox aimed to address e-waste within APIIT premises.
Code Green Phase 02: Eco-Blend merged sustainability and art by creating a plant wall using plastic waste found on the APIIT premises.
KALEIDOCINE
Project ‘Kaleidocine’ featured a movie night where students watched, processed, and shared their thoughts on the though-provoking film, “Red, White, and Royal Blue.”
BEYOND THE NORM
Project ‘Beyond the Norm’ showcased a play acted out by students of APIIT, aiming to promote diversity and foster meaningful dialogue on gender and sexual identity.
EMBRACE DIVERSITY
Resolvers club organized a play to promote diversity, respect personal choices, self-expression, empathy, and dialogue around gender and sexual identity, aiming to engage and entertain the audience.
OPEN MIC
‘Open Mic’ organized by Resolvers Club, creates a shared platform for individuals in APIIT to showcase their talents and connect through divers forms of art.
PROJECT-PERSPECTIVE
Project “Perspective” featured distinguished speakers discussing women’s roles in society, men’s perspectives on women, gender challenges, and feminism’s significance. The event aimed to provide thought-provoking insights for Women’s Day.
VALENTINO BONDAE
The Resolvers Club marked Valentine’s Day with engaging friendship bonding games, enhancing meaningful connections among peers.
PROJECT KAMUද

LIFE FOR PETS
Project “Life for Pets,” was committed to fostering the well-being of animals, It focused on raising awareness and advocating for improved standards of animal welfare.
SECRET SANTA
Resolvers added a special touch to the season of giving by orchestrating a ‘Secret Santa’ project, allowing students and APIIT to experience the joy of giving.
FELICIDAD-PHASE 1
Embracing the Christmas spirit, the Resolvers Club arranged a candy creation competition-a team-building challenge where participants constructed Christmas-themed structures using candy.
FELICIDAD-PHASE 2
To add more joy to the joyous christmas month, the Resolvers Club organized an open mic to experience joy and happiness through music, dance, poetry, and standup comedy.

HALLOWEEN
In the spirit of Halloween, the Resolvers Club arranged a haunted house for students of APIIT, offering a thrilling mix of fun and courage amid spine-chilling screams.
PUMPKIN CARVING
To fully embrace the essence of Halloween, a pumpkin carving competition was organized, providing an opportunity for students to bond and unleash their creativity through the art of pumpkin carving.
VOICE FOR HER
Professor Arosha Adikaram’s session illuminated the significance of financial independence for women. The goal of this project was to impart knowledge on achieving financial independence.
BHARATANATYAM
Resolvers organized a free of charge Bharatanatyam training session as a continuation of the Equal Access project.
BEAUTY OF SRI LANKA
The goal of this project was to showcase and celebrate the beauty and significance of Sri Lanka, emphasizing its potential to uplift spirits during difficult times, even in the face of adversity.
OUR DUTY TO OUR COUNTRY
To boost morale amid food shortages in crisis periods, the Resolvers Club organized a home gardening competition. This initiative highlights the resilience and hope of the Resolvers during challenging times.
INCUSION IS THE BEST FORM OF PATRIOTISM
The project was aimed to raise community awareness about the connection between inclusion and patriotism, fostering the development of stronger and more effective leaders among the younger generation.
PROJECT EQUAL ACCESS
Project ‘Equal Access,’ held in April 2022, led by Resolvers Executive Member Amrootha Chandrasekaran and staff Resolvers Harsha Widanapathirana and Kumindri Tillekeratne, emphasized the right to education and aesthetic awareness.
PROUD
Project ‘PROUD’ held in March 2022 led by Resolver Mihara Rohansie and staff resolver Kanishka Bandara, aimed to revisit contemporary thoughts about females, promoting the idea of being the heroin of one’s own life.
LOVE IS RESPECT, LOVE SHOULDN'T HURT
In February 2022, our project was dedicated to educating and fostering awareness about Teen Dating violence within the APIIT family. The objective of this project was to promote healthy relationships and deter persistent patterns of violence, all guided by the principle that `love is respect, and love shouldn’t hurt.
THE UNSPOKEN TRUTH
Project ‘The unspoken Truth’ was sought to foster a greater sense of connection and compassionately cultivate empathy to explore the experience of individuals with disabilities.
BE KIND
The Monthly forum of Resolvers was organized to share the impact of the projects concluded in October. Open discussions were carried out to enhance the bond between the Resolvers family. Moreover, a trailer for the upcoming project in November was showcased.
LOVE AND CARE DURING PANDEMIC
During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Resolvers created a virtual platform, providing individuals with a shared space to come together, find solace, and embrace moments of light and happiness.
EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES
Resolvers organized a webinar led by Calvin Hindle on ‘Emerging Technologies’. He leveraged his expertise in AI, machine learning, cognitive technologies, and RPA.
ENVIRONMENTAL AND CLIMATE CHANGE
The project was targeted on addressing the fears of the youth about the future of Sri Lanka due to unethical behavior that causes environmental and climate change. The objective if this project was to emphasize the importance of positive change over materialistic pursuits.
VEGANISM
The Resolvers Movement of APIIT organized a project to promote veganism and a healthy planet led by Resolver Tharuka Jayasinghe and staff Resolver Tehani Pendigrast. The aim of this was to promote empathy and compassion, contributing to the enhancement of social, emotional, cultural, and moral wellbeing.
PARENTS - SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS
Project ‘Parents-Share your thoughts’ held in June 2021, involved an open discussion on the dynamic of parents, children, and family relationships. Student Resolvers took the lead, driven by the goal of creating awareness to foster better times and build happier memories.
VIRTUAL VEGAN
The event aimed to reveal the chef within the APIIT students and staff body, to showcase their culinary talents by encouraging them to prepare delightful vegan dishes.
MENSTRUATION
The monthly forum of the Resolvers Club provided a standardized understanding of menstruation, addressing issues faced by women and girls, emphasizing the importance of sanitary napkins, menstrual hygiene knowledge, and mutual support, paving the way for significant change.
